Our Expectations

As a TCM Reviewer, you will be expected to:

• Write honest and constructive reviews of books, ebooks, audio book, or braille titles in your favorite genre(s). Please note that author and/or book bashing is strictly prohibited and offending reviews will not be posted.

• Hand in reviews using the online Submission Form within one month of receipt of the review copy. Reviews are posted every Friday (those reviews received before Thursday 12:00pm Mountain Standard Time).

• Contact Us immediately if you can’t complete a review before the deadline, if you feel unable to be constructive about your feedback, or if the publication does not adhere to our strict No Non-Consensual Acts, No Under-Age Characters, No Rape, No Bestiality, No Incest policy for adult works.

Getting Started

Whenever, TCM Reviews receives a review request, we will send out a Review Opportunity email with any information we receive about the work to our reviewers.

If you are interested in reviewing the publication, then Contact Us with a request to review the work. Be sure to include information regarding your desired format (pdf, doc, print, etc) and shipping address (email account for an electronic copy or postal address for a print version) if necessary.

The first reviewer to reply back to the email will be assigned that review. We will then make all arrangements for the review copy to be sent to you.

Please note that there is now a maximum number of review copies that a reviewer can hold at any particular time. No further review copies will be sent to individuals reaching these limits until their backlog of reviews are submitted.

• New reviewers are limited to two review copies (print or ebook) until the first review has been submitted.

• All other reviewers are limited to five review copies (print or ebook).

Completed Reviews

The Review Format is as follows. Completed reviews can be handed in using the online Review Submission Form or though email.

ISBN:
Genre(s):
Reviewed by __________ (If desired,we can directly link your name to your website, book, etc).

The Actual Review (Reviews should be approximately between 150-500 words, ideally 200-250 words)

Perks for Reviewers

• All TCM Reviewers are automatically eligible to have their published books, ebooks, audio books, or braille titles featured for free in TCM Reviews Newsletter (TCM Reviews Newsletter- Adult Version for adult titles). Reviewer’s works will be featured on a rotational basis when these sections are open.

• For those TCM Reviewers who want their published materials reviewed, please note that review requests will be sent out without any indications that you are a fellow reviewer to encourage an objective review.
