Reviewed by Eugen M. Bacon

Addison Thorne is a service desk agent at a copy center but has clandestine nocturnal activities that grant him tremendous command over his victims. Notwithstanding this capability, a side plot of a morphing vampire slayer on the verge of transformation is more remarkable than the protagonist and, without doubt, adds liberal spice to the novella. Cover graphics: good; editing: refined; storyline: staggered. Patrick Welch’s finest, is not here. Thorne is the work of an artist meeting a deadline, perhaps treading new waters yet certain enough of this publication going live to deeply revisit it. Readable: yes. Memorable: no. Fans may enthuse over it as a trailer between Patrick Welch’s notable works of merit.
