David finds welcomed solace in his computer as he tries to come to grips with his wife’s suicide and missing presence. As he slowly but surely begins to explore the lure of online romance, he finds true excitement in the form of Doreen. As their story telling collaboration grows and develops, as does their mutual trust and admiration of each other, Doreen cannot help but divulge in some of her secret desires. Ready for taking the next step with his newfound love, things drastically change for David when Doreen calls their online romance off.

Hurt beyond belief, David tries to cope with the sudden loss however things are not made easier when she keeps emailing him. Confessing all of her sorrow over losing him while hinting at her fantasy over being kidnapped and becoming his slave, David realizes what he must do for both of their happiness.

While I would consider this a major read due to the length, I have to say that each page was deliciously entertaining. The pace and plot float us along and the characters are as enticing as they are hypnotic. Mr. Cloud explores an important area of human interaction
to which I greatly look forward to his sequel.
