Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

The town of Pinewood is full of secrets. The strangest of these secrets are those surrounding the haunting of the Carlisle Cabin. Known as a party cabin in the seventies, the Carlisle Cabin's reputation suddenly and forever changes when the Carlisle's teenage son Alex goes missing. The last place Alex had been seen was the Carlisle Cabin. Most people in the town thought the boy had simply ran away from home but others knew better. Then, in 1996, a brutal triple homicide occurred at the Cabin during a Halloween party. Strangely, no suspects were ever charged with the murder. Years later a writer begins digging up information about these mysteries and finds herself caught right in the middle of yet another murder mystery.

Too Many Secrets is a murder mystery full of intriguing twists and turns. This book keeps the reader thinking and rethinking until the very last chapter of the book. The characters are varied but all have interesting strange and wacky personality traits that add to the appeal of the story. One particularly interesting aspect to these characters is that as time goes on these characters evolve and even change their appearances slightly.
