Each animal in the book has different difficulties but each one has a couple similar issues with the basic commands. Using the monk’s way both sides need to understand the change. It will be work to continue with their method to keep the dog from reverting. But inside is still the same dog you know an love, just now realizes where they are in the pack. Knowing that you need to remember that in a way they have their thoughts to, and you need to be firm with them but yet praise them when they get it right. Loving them doesn’t mean you can’t be firm, just need to stand your ground even if it seems really hard to do. It will make them understand and will be stronger for it.
