One Woman’s Heart/Life

Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

One Woman’s Heart/Life is the second book of poetry by the author in The One Woman’s Heart series. The first book in this series, One Woman’s Heart/One Man’s Heart, consisted of poems written by her husband Joseph and herself. These poems had a very religious feel.

The works in One Woman’s Heart/Life also have a distinctly religious feeling. Like the author’s portion in the first book, these works also focus mainly on reminiscences with a few poems dedicated completely to the author’s religious beliefs and experiences. However, the author’s works in this title have a bit more depth than those in the first book. It would seem the author is getting more comfortable expressing herself through her art.
