Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

It seems we live in an increasingly complex world. We’ve got so many different options, especially in regards to our health care. Sometimes, trying to find just the right strategies for our health issues is confusing.

The Healing Sourcebook looks at nine different complementary medicine techniques: aromatherapy, reflexology, Reiki, Bach Flower remedies, Homeopathy, herbal medicine, crystal therapy, yoga, and meditation. The goal of this book is to educate the reader about his or her options while giving them a little taste of how each method works.

Unlike similar books that tend to serve as either a summary of available techniques or an advertising directory for practitioners, The Healing Sourcebook is written to empower readers in taking control of their health. The basics set out here, can be used by virtually any reader. Then, if a method or methods resonate with them, he or she can delve deeper into these areas.
