I am thoroughly impressed by The Primal Runes. When I picked up this book, I expected that it was primarily a divination system. Likely a replica of Norse runes or Celtic ogam modified for popular use. Often such presentations have well organized summaries of the various runes which can be used for research purposes. Therefore, I picked up the book with this limited purpose in mind.
The Primal Runes completely surprised me. The book is the culmination of the author’s original research. The runes presented are based upon the cycles of the moon, going back to the very first systems of symbols. As such, each represents particular archetypes. As a divination system, these symbols look to the personal journey and self understanding. Both standard meanings and spiritual meanings are provided for each rune.
The Primal Runes is a must have for anyone interested in runes or archetypes. This information represents a good deal of very complex research. Still, the results are presented in an easy to understand format and easy to replicate divination system.
