The Most Valuable Treasure
Sally H. Taylor
Outskirts Press, Inc
ISBN: 978-1-4327-1821-3
Fiction, Children’s Picture Book
Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

Friends really are the most valuable treasure. Within a quiet village was a great mystery. Everyone knew and took care of everyone except for the person who lived in the old rickety house. No one had ever met the person but there were plenty of scary rumors that an old witch or a troll lived in the house.

Then, one day, there was an accident. A boy fell down the well. Who saved him but the person who lived in the old rickety house. Even though they were afraid, the rest of the town was so happy that they wanted to show their appreciation.

The Most Valuable Treasure is a great story about how sometimes appearances can be deceiving. Often, a person can seem really scary but they are just lonely and scared themselves.
