Canada is such a very large diverse country. We have the majestic Rocky Mountains in the West. We have the unique Canadian Shield covering much of the East. We have gargantuan ice caps in the Arctic. Then, there’s Niagara Falls, the badlands of Drumheller, and the Manicouagan crater.
Canada’s Natural Wonders is one of those ageless books that reminds all Canadians of the treasures that we possess right here at home. I have traveled quite a bit across Canada and I was surprised that I didn’t know of a few of these gems. Now, I’m eager to visit these places as well.
The pictures are absolutely awe-inspiring. I like that the information is presented in a way that children can understand. For instance, presenting measurements but then using common objects to explain the magnitude of some of these wonders.
