1001 Ways to Relax
Susannah Marriott

Non-Fiction, Health
Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

Stressed out? Need a break? Whether at work, at home, or on vacation we could all use a little down time. With 1001 ideas, 1001 Ways to Relax has a little something for everyone.

1001 Ways to Relax is cleverly set out into sections such as Destressing at Work, Relax at Home, Enjoying Nature, Relaxing Relationships, and Unwinding at Times of Stress. While there is some repetition of ideas between these divisions, there is still a good variety of choices ranging from stress relief and time management through undertaking relaxing hobbies and pampering to aroma therapy and healthy foods. Every reader will find a plethora of strategies that suit his or her lifestyle.

Much of the book is written generically, for use with anyone wanting to relax- so all of us. However, there are a few chapters written specifically for those who are going through pregnancy and those with small children. What a wonderful resource.
