I have always loved inspirational quotes. You know the type I mean, those that inspire me to be something more, those that provide one of those a-ha moments, and those that give me a little push when I need it.

Perhaps this is why I enjoyed Pure Soapbox. I was having one of those days. Instead of sulking, I picked up this book and started reading. It really gave me the kick in the butt that I needed.

At the head of each chapter, there is a quote. Then, the author comments on that particular quote. Sometimes, she expands upon the concept and sometimes she explains how we can use this sage advice to benefit our everyday life. A little humor and a lot of personality makes this book a joy to read.
