This adventure is written in a present day scenario where radiation due to ozone depletion is causing unpredictable genetic mutations and increasing evolutionary changes that directly impact the future of humanity. One man, Steve Cutter, scientist/ inventor has harnessed the technology of being able to tap into the unused potential of the human mind. This has enabled him to become more than just a man, named Strand, who is potentially the only person who is able to help save the human race. He has set himself up as a harbinger to warn the world of the impending changes taking effect and he is racing against time, and people in high places who are trying to silence his message.

This book is the most fascinating, innovative science fiction novel that I have read in a long time. The novel has fascinating compelling characters that will appeal to all ages. The action is non-stop suspense and deeply enthralling. The science behind the story is so well written that it could easily spark children's interest and imagination enough to do further research and study on their own. I am thoroughly impressed with this book and look forward to reading more in the series. It is thought provoking, entertaining, and imaginative. Excellent read!
