I always open a book like this with a mix of anticipation and skepticism, having read and collected similar books for almost 15 years. I was prepared to wade through the first 100 pages, sifting through fluff and promises before finding real kernels of useful information

I was more than pleasantly surprised. As one who believes that the universe and my role in it are part of something both magic and collective, this book was akin to getting a spiritual GPS loaded with the latest satellite maps. It is well worth re-reading and sharing with fellow travelers.

I particularly appreciate Stephen Martin's careful citation of numerous scientists, spiritual guides and noted thinkers throughout the book. The other aspect which impresses me is his soft-sell. He doesn't attempt to convince readers, he simply lays everything out in a manner that allows open-minded readers to ponder and reach their own conclusions. Overall, it is an excellent addition to the genres of personal growth and metaphysical literature.
