Dwight Enhart has not led an easy life.
While once part of a happy family, the sudden and unexplained disappearance of his father has turned the familiy's life upside down, causing Dwight's mother and sister to become bitter shadows of their former selves, and causing Dwight to become painfully shy and withdrawn from society.
The Fading of The Scars follows Dwight's path through his teenage years, through difficult challenges and choices, to his spiritual awakening and beyond.
While the religious messages conveyed in this book would not be for everyone, I found the basic storyline to be quite good reading. I liked the fact that Dwight's spirituality touched so many lives.
