A Woman’s Path to Wholeness: The Gift is in the Process is an inspirational book describing the life of the author and how she found her life path. The author had been raised in a very strict religious family in which she was expected to act and live in certain ways. Like many of us, the author tried to follow these rules without question. So instead of trying to find out who she was and what she wanted from life, the author busied herself with the care of others and taking on more and more projects. However, faced with the fact that her children were leaving the nest, the author suddenly had to come to terms with herself.
As the reader reads A Woman’s Path to Wholeness: The Gift is in the Process, she will likely see parts of herself. As women, we do tend to nurture others before ourselves. We often try to conform to what others want us to be. We somehow believe that in sacrificing our own joy we give it to others. The result is a happy face that hides resentment and pain that not only affects us but also those we love.
