Living Adventures from American History is a Parents’ Choice Recommended product. This audio book is part two of a three part story about George Washington titled the Life and Times of George Washington: America’s Fight For Freedom. This part of Washington’s story focuses on the fighting at Valley Forge and the major turning points of the Revolutionary War.

Unlike other audio books in this series, the story was longer in duration and required a little more concentration making this story suitable for a slightly older audience. Moreover, many of the details discussed in the account required some basic background in the events of the war and some of the major characters in these events. Much of this information is described in smaller more manageable stories in other audio books available from this publisher.
