Beautiful but lonely Elizabeth returns to her mothers homeland as she has inherited the family manor. While the town is stunned by her uncanny likeness to her deceased aunt, she sets about making the manor into her home. Almost immediately she experiences strange dreams and sensations surrounding those she meets, from the charismatic Meleager to the soulful Julius. As a fight slowly ensues for her heart, she turns to the wolf of her dreams for solace. Slowly but surely things do not seem as they should be and before she knows it, she is drug into a dark world which brings her face to face to the curse of her ancestors. With the full moon high in the sky, she cannot escape this impeding darkness and relies on Julius to give her the answers she so desperately needs.
I simply cannot praise this book enough. The drama was nonstop and continually entertaining, the love and passion was eloquently described, the sexual encounters fueled and propelled the love story to a blissful ending, and one could not help but feel a certain sense of gratification upon reading the story. Therefore, I would have to declare that it was absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend it for an example of erotica at its finest. Ms. Bane is definitely an author to look out for!
