Talia had no idea that when she saw the mysterious figures lurking in the forest outside her balcony that her life was about to be drastically altered. Kidnapped by big and ugly creatures that came from another universe, these Orcs took her back to their home. While it shortly becomes clear that she is at the bottom of an unfulfilled prophesy involving forces beyond her control and imagination, the gallant and dashing Calion, Prince of the Elves, saves the day.

Although it has been written law for centuries that no elf may ever mate with a human and the punishment is death, Talia and Calion can not deny the intense attraction between them. Quickly they learn that no matter how they try to stop their mutual need for each other, a certain prophesy must come to being and it can only be through them.

This book was very entertaining and well written. The author not only succeeded in describing a different world for the reader, but also managed to bring it to life. As a result, the story was quite compelling and impossible to put down. The love story shown through the story without sacraficing sacrificing or tension in the love scenes. The creativity was highly commendable as one could never guess where the story would go. Therefore, this book is just the thing when you want to lose yourself for a few enjoyable hours.
